Holiday Checklist


  • Arrange Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Foreign Currency.
  • Read Travel Advisory for your destinations
  • Register with DFAT all overseas travel
  • Passports - You will need a minimum of six (6) to (12) twelve month’s validity from your return date into Australia depending on your destination.
  • Visa(s) – It’s your responsibility to obtain a visa should one be required to enter a country.
  • US Bound Travellers - Apply for your US Visa via ESTA.
  • Canada Bound Travellers – ETA Visa required (effective from 01 August 2015).
  • International Drivers Licence
  • Travel Insurance
  • Guide Books and Maps.
  • Photocopies of Documentation, Passports, Credit Cards, Drivers Licence.
  • Arrange for International Roaming on your mobile phone - Phone Charger.
  • Travel Adaptors

  • Please Note: For any medical needs please consult your medical practitioner and check restrictions for carrying prescription drugs for any country you are visiting or transiting.
  • Toiletries - Please Note: Any (liquid) toiletries, alcohol, perfume etc, carried on-board as hand luggage must not be larger than 100ml in size.
  • Travel Clothing - Appropriate attire for the customs of the country you are visiting.
